I want to put out there that even though I am on the road to losing weight, I don't have all the answers. There is no one thing that will work for everyone, but I was someone who went out a limb and tried many things before finding a products/brand that worked for me! With that being said, it also doesn't mean that i don't have bad days with eating or being as active as i should. This is a lifestyle change, and a learning process. I have my moments of weakness and want that Cold Stone ice-cream down the road from me, or the chicken fingers from the restaurant around the corner. If I in fact treat myself to these things I do a couple of things. 1) I made it a rare or special occasion. Its not an everyday, or week occurrence. More times then not its on my PMS week, but that's neither here nor there. Point is, everything in moderation both in how many times and how much you have. Which brings me to point number 2) Instead of ordering a large, or any little extras go with a smaller size. Its a treat, and you don't want to undo all your hard work because you over indulged into something unhealthy. As i said the things that i use as my cheat are with in walking distance so number 3) If you're close enough to whatever you'd like to eat... walk there. Get some exercise in, specially on the days you know you're going to be allowing yourself that little extra something. It might not help you lose, but it just may be enough to keep you from gaining.
The point is, we are all human and we all want things that are bad for us. Its all in the way we handle those situations that can either make or break our progress. So remember everything in moderation, and plan a head. If you're able to walk or get in some extra exercise before indulging that's always a good idea. Most importantly though to remember is don't beat yourself up. Enjoy your progress, and reward yourself.
